This course is designed for new shooters to learn gun and range safety, the controls on their handgun, learn proper grip, stance, trigger control, and sight alignment/sight picture. Walk away feeling much more comfortable about shooting your handgun.

Concealed Handgun Permit with range time
Learn about the law, mindset, equipment, safety, and the process to get your CHP. Range time will consist of: safely operating you handgun, establishing a decent grip and stance. Practicing good sight alignment/sight picture and a good trigger press.

Art of Dryfire Training
This course teaches the student a proper grip, stance, sight alignment/sight picture, and trigger control. Additionally, the student will learn the draw stroke, shooting from retention, target transitions, and much more. Upon completion, the student will feel much more confident in their ability to deploy their weapon and defend themselves or others. This is all done without fire a single live round. World Champion Shooters spend more time dryfire training than live fire training – and so should we.

Handgun – Deadly Accurate (Level 1)
This course begins your journey into fast and accurate shooting. You will learn the purposes and principles of the Core Elements of Handgun shooting (Grip, Stance, Trigger Control, and Sight Alignment/Sight Picture). We will help you establish a decent grip and stance, but the major focus of this class is to “hit what you’re aim at”. If you can’t first be accurate, nothing else really matters. We will address both the physical and mental aspects of shooting accurately.

Handgun – Speed (Level 2)
We will go over all that was learned in Level 1 and then add additional “layers” of biomechanical actions to further aid in the management of recoil for faster and more accurate shooting. We will break down the shooting cycle into individual steps and understand fully the importance of each step. We will work on perfecting the draw stroke as well a one handed shooting. A lot of focus will go into target transitions (60% of the time there are 2 or more assailants in a self defense shooting). You will learn types of trigger manipulations for different target situations. Learn how “sooner” equals “faster”.

Handgun – Tactical (Level 3)
We will go over all that was learned in Level 1 and 2. You will learn to effectively shoot a variety of dynamic shooting scenarios: shooting on the move, from retentions, around barricades, out of position, magazine changes, malfunction clearing, target transitions, and much more.

Handgun Mastery – (Level 4)
We will go over all that was learned in Level 1, 2, and 3. This course will add the dimensions of distraction, decision making, defensive maneuvers, and much more. We will introduce stress and anxiety and work on inoculating ourselves against anxiety so performance does not degrade when under pressure.

Self Defense Handgun Level 1
Are you ready for a gun fight? Learn how to shoot what your aim at. Establish a proper grip, stance, sight alignment/sight picture, trigger press, learn the draw stroke from concealment, mag changes, malfunction clearing, commands, and exposure to scenario based decision making.

Duration: 6 hours (1 hour classroom, 5 hours range)
Equipment: Semi auto handgun, holster, magazine pouch, 3 magazines, eye and ear protection, and a concealment garment.

Self Defense Handgun Level 2
We will re-enforce what was learned in Level 1 and add shooting with strong hand only, support hand only, shooting on the move, shooting from retentions, target transitions, and exposure to scenario based decision making using new skills.
Prerequisite: Self Defense Handgun 101

Duration: 6 hours, all range time.
